Jane was one of my best friends.  We had gone down to U of I in late July  to see the campus as both of us were going to attend there.  Days after we returned  I get a call from her sister Karen about Jane being on life support with no hope (I believe it was an aneurysum).  Her family was devastated. As were her friends.  We had such plans!
