Sad news for you NTE graduates of 1974. My brother Michael L. Hosbein passed away on Friday night in a Denver hospital. He is survived wife Victoria Girdziunas, son William and daughter Katherine.
I was so sad to hear the news of Mike's passing. Your brother was a wonderful guy. He had a terrific sense of humor. I enjoyed playing baseball with him in grade school at Central. We played cards together in high school at our friend John Lindauer's house. I would also see him in the NT News office. We grew up together in Glencoe and our families were friends. I will always remember his infectious laugh and great smile. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your entire family.
Wow what can I say about Mike. I always wondered what happened to him. We took an elective class together with Scott Ellison and John Lindauer called gourmet cooking. Never had so much fun as to see 3 guys try to come up with a recipe for anything. I think we all became famous in a national cooking magazine.
Mike was truly the best I loved him and wish I could have seen him more after HS but I lost track.

Peter,
I am so sorry for your loss. Although I did not know Michael that well, our paths crossed a few times growing up in Glencoe.
Or thoughts and prayers go out to you and your family.

This is very sad news and we all wish your family strength.
