Fixing up Mr. Ward's house was an advisory project. I offered to do some electrical work on his very, very old house (I had spent several summers working for an electrical contractor). I removed a fuse in order to do some work on a circuit. Mr. Ward started helping me. Next thing I know, he shouts and scrambles backwards on the floor. The wire he cut was live! His house was so old that every circuit had TWO fuses (now illegal).
Mr. Ward lived, of course. And, to his credit, believed me when I investigated and explained what happened.
I almost electrocuted my advisor!

Happy birthday! Time to take that new car out for a spin. Too bad it's raining.
Happy Birthday, Maggie! Will I see you at the 2014 50th reunion?

Jake!
Tibor filled me in (somewhat) on what you (and he) have been up to during the last reunion. Holy Crap! Really - Assistant Chaplain. My grandmother's maiden name was Shapland, which is a take on chaplain and is probably as close as I would ever get. Except for singing in the choir and cantoring.
Last I heard, Gary was a Major in the California Air National Guard - probably a General by now, I suspect. I always figured with my eyesight, if I had enlisted, I'd have been shot and killed just disembarking from the airplane after landing.
I agree with Mark - you look great.
I see that you are jumping out of planes now. I remember taking you up, I think the first time, and you held onto the bottom of your seat for the whole flight. Probably something to so with the pilot, I suspect.
My daughter is a middle school art teacher and also a good artist. It reminds me of all of the portraiture, photography and road rally T-Shirts ("Banditti of the Prairie") that you did. I've gotten to know (and work for) a number of artists over the years and your work was (is) superb!
My wife has a baking business; perhaps that would be a good excuse for us to get together. Maybe after COVID-19...
Happy birthday! Perhaps the next time I'm in the UK you won't be in Copenhagen!
