I am more than gutted to hear of the passing of TIm McGuane this past summer. Tim and I exchanged updates on each others lives the past few years and was hoping on one of my yearly trips to Manitoulin island in Canada to take a detour and share a visit with him in his home of Simcoe Canada.
We got to know each other quite well in Troubadors with Mr Stevens followed by 2 years in the Boys emsemble with Dr. Petermen. Not too many of those high Tenors at the time. That fueled a friendship that extended out side of school and of course like all friends landed us in a bit trouble her and there. Always under the radar though.
Our paths after graduation, like many of us went in different directions, but his love of flying as a comercial and private pilot (I see even piloting Jack NIcolas at times) was his passion. When we chatted his younger borther EJ had passed as had his wife. A tough road to tackle.
