Mitch Levy (July 24, 1956 to September 13, 1996 --Mitch Levy passed away on Friday the 13th). He was 40 years old.
Mitch was the pitcher on my brother's softball team--16 inch Winnetka league--from 1981 until the year he passed away in 1996. The team was called "The Wolves" for those of you who may know the team if you played in the Winnetka 16 inch softball league back then.
My brother was instrumental in making sure there was a memorial service so that Mitch's teammates, people who knew him, could pay their final respects. I attended the memorial service as did the1 softball team.
