Rony Blum (Lipovetzky)

She was usually the quietest person in the class, but when we walked back after school to her place on Wentworth St, we laughed so much.  She was the youngest in her family.  She was great friends with John Goldstein too.  Her parents were very kind.  She always sought out the funny angle in life, whether in school, in our drawings (for which she was gifted), or at the movies. She was a wonderful mimic too. She loved running alongside the train tracks with her dog where the daisies popped up & adored studying Biology. She loved reading Harriet the Spy & witch stories when in grade school. In 6th grade, in Mr Martin's play, she played the mermaid Glinda & said playing mermaids were boring because they can't run around.  In Junior High, she was quite shy, but her humorous side always appeared when one least expected it. We were lucky to have had Karen as a neighbor & friend, & really tragic she is no longer with us. She had a brother, Sam Brown, Junior. May her memory be blessed.
