When there is a person as bubbly, outgoing and also as drop-dead beautiful (both inside and out) it is almost criminal that there are not more remembrances of Stephanie.

She came to Glencoe in about 5th grade...new kid in school, for a bit.  However, given the type of person she was, that melted away most readily.  I can claim that I had a decent friendship with her always, and during NTE as well.  And that god-given platinum hair...holy smokes.  Still, that external attribute paled in comparison to her vivacity and absolutely unassuming, unpretentious manner.

She was stricken with cancer during early middle age.  She battled it...oh, did she battle it.  But it did claim her, much to the loss of anyone who knew her.  RIP, Steffi.  You sure brightened up a lot of my days.

I hadn't realized that Stephi had passed till I read Joe's comment.  So very sad-I remember her lovely smile well.  Another sweet, kind person who passed too soon.  She willl certainly be missed.
