Oh my gosh-I just learned that Nora died on 9/3/16.  What a loss.  I was always intrigued by her, as she seemed so talented, strong and comfortable in her own skin.  We were never close, but it seemed appropriate that she would follow her talents and succeed in NY's performance world.  how sad that we keep losingour classmates.  Carpe Diem.

Who knew this talent was among us?

A punch in the gut that I didn't know about her performance career. Would have been wonderful to hear her when she was alive.

Nora was a friend in kindergarten at North School. Somehow, on the first day of junior high at Central School, she tapped me on the shoulder and said, "You're Lance, right?" How she knew after six years is anyone's guess.

I was better friends with her brother Andy through high school (he also succeeded as a performer, as one of the leading bassoonists in New York). But I ran into Nora regularly at New Trier. In retrospect, she seems wise and knowing beyond her years.
